Angenvoort Asia Pacific Limited has been appointed by The Ian Schrager Company to develop the concept design for multi-generational family facilities for the new 5 Star “The Sanya EDITION” Hotel in Sanya, Hainan Island, China.

The Sanya EDITION Hotel and its Playland opened before Chinese New Year 2017.

Unique kids’ club concept design planning for future resort in South East Europe

Angenvoort Lda., a specialist in custom made children experiences, developed the concept design and area planning for an investor and his future resort in South East Europe. The project included Kids, Junior and Youth Club.

Christian Angenvoort, CEO, and Britta Kautzmann, Creative Director, realized a 3 day workshop with the clients team to develop the concept design, area program and planning for the future family and children friendly experiences with a “WoW” effect.

Objective has been to check the clients brief, execute research on innovative kids’ clubs and programs in international markets. Definition of children’s needs and expectations for the different age groups. The project also included the development of area program for the interior and exterior, the product selection and procurement support, the light and colour concepts as well as aspects of safety, risk assessment and hygiene. Special focus has been put on the overall well integration in the resorts future infrastructure and operational aspects.

The happier the kids, the more satisfied their parents, the higher the experience value of the stay and the probability of a repeat visit. Moreover, unique facilities that the children don’t know from their daily and leisure time life will become a “talk about” after the holidays and a “must to visit” for their friends and family members. Valuable is to win the kids of the families as “small decision makers” as future clients with long-term customer loyalty, an increased duration of stays and expenses as well as higher re-visit rate.
