“Wild Animals of Borneo” for “Adventure Point” at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort

Angenvoort Design Studio developed the concept design and area planning for “Adventure Point” – a custom made playground for grandparents, parents and children at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

Unique designs for play sculptures such as two playhouses, a 30 m double twin ropeway and using the regional strengths of Borneo’s wild animals and culture. From concept design, storytelling, area planning, detailed designs with base measurements and supporting Procurement and Project Management. Detailed Designs based on European safety norm EN1176.

We selected fascinating animals for the children to learn about wildlife protection and rainforest conservation in exciting kids’ activities - to let their imagination fly - Orang Utah, Elephant, Snake, Western Tasier, Slow Loris and Green and Hawksbill turtles on Sabah’s Turtle Island.
